Rödelheim has a new weekly market: On Wednesday, city councillor Markus Frank and Michaela Will, head of local council 7, opened the market on Arthur-Stern-Platz. Councillor Markus Frank rang the market bell and thus gave the acoustic starting signal for the latest weekly market of the HFM Managementgesellschaft für Hafen und Markt. Visitors on this first market day were then treated to live music from singer, guitarist and entertainer Kevin Henderson as they shopped.
The location of the small market is very well chosen: Located directly at the Rödelheim train station, between the S-Bahn entrance and the bus stop, the market offers the perfect shopping complement to the supermarket located at the square. Commuters can shorten the waiting time for the next bus or S-Bahn with a fresh coffee or by getting baked goods, cheese or vegetables and fruit. Or you can simply meet up with friends after work for a glass of wine or a small snack. In any case, the small weekly market is an enrichment for the district.
The Rödelheim weekly market will in future take place every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Arthur-Stern-Platz to the west of the Rödelheim train station.
