CineStar Metropolis is setting new standards in the Frankfurt cinema landscape. With today's opening of a completely new IMAX® cinema auditorium, it is bringing the world's leading cinema experience to central and southern Hesse - the only auditorium of its kind in the region. The combination of state-of-the-art technology and exceptional comfort makes this movie theater a highlight for film fans.

The new auditorium offers an exclusive cinema experience:
- Private Suites: Designer armchairs that swivel and recline, combined with footrests and personalized tables, offer the ultimate in comfort.
- Recliner seats: Luxurious recliner seats invite pure relaxation with adjustable backrests and footrests.

The centerpiece of the new auditorium is IMAX® technology, which impresses with groundbreaking technical innovations:
- Crystal-clear images thanks to IMAX® 4K laser projection, which redefines sharpness, color and contrast.
- Overwhelming sound: A 12.1 multi-channel sound system, recalibrated daily, provides a precise and immersive sound experience.
- Gigantic screen: The handmade IMAX® special screen (21.34 m x 11.30 m) is a visual highlight.
- Intense 3D experience with specially developed IMAX® glasses for an even deeper immersion into the world of film.
