A few weeks ago, for the re-launch of our BEST OF campaign, we called on you to tell us where you think the best Kreppel is in and around Frankfurt. Your lively feedback made us very happy. You diligently voted for your favorites on our website, as well as on our Facebook and Instagram pages. And now the time had finally come: We were able to present the BEST OF certificates to the winners. And so you have voted:
Place 3:
Bronze goes to the Café Kitzel in Sossenheim. The popular district café, which has been spoiling its clientele with fresh rolls and homemade cakes according to a traditional family recipe since 1948, can also convince you with its crepes, in your opinion. "Café Kitzel's crepes are sensational," writes one user, and another joins in: "If you want to eat unbelievably delicious crepes, make sure you go to Café Kitzel. The team, the location, the ambience and the goods - simply everything is right". The two are not alone in this opinion! We congratulate the charming family business to the third place!
Place 2:
On the second podium is an old acquaintance. The Café Altes Rathaus in Hofheim had taken first place several times in past BEST OF KREPPEL elections. The Kreppel of Daniel Anderlohr do not belong only to people from Hofheim to the most delicious at all. Even from the surrounding area, people come here specifically to enjoy the delicacies. "If you don't vote for the Old Town Hall Café, you haven't tried the Kreppel there yet," one user justifies her choice, adding, "No matter what filling or even unfilled, they're simply unbeatable in the region." Katja Anderlohr received the certificate full of joy and gratitude for this second place.

In your opinion, the best crepes are at mehlwassersalz at MMK! At this vegetarian bistro, you can taste the love for baked goods with every bite. Whether rolls, cinnamon buns, chocolate rolls, sourdough bread or even Kreppel - what comes here on the plate or in the bag, is pure indulgence for your taste buds! "Soooo delicious" is how one user describes the Kreppel, of which she especially loves the ones with sour cherry filling. "Simply top," writes another user. The team around the two creators Dennis Aukili and Milan Müller is very happy about the award, which we were allowed to present to them this week. Congratulations!
An equal number of votes were also cast for the Backhaus Heislitz in Hofheim, the Cáfe Ernst in Sachsenhausen, the Café Ruppel at the main cemetery and the Confiserie Graff in Rödelheim. We thank you all for the active participation and are already looking forward to the next BEST OF election, which is planned for April!
