"They are on duty for us, we keep them mobile." True to this motto, 75 employees from clinics throughout Hesse can now drive BMW Group vehicles free of charge until 15 May 2020.
"In times like these, we all become even more aware of how indispensable medical care is in our society. Above all, the staff in hospitals deserve our utmost respect," explains Axel Juhre, Head of BMW Branch Network Central. "With our MINI and BMW, we especially want to support those who still rely on public transport."
The BMW Central Branch Network provides several vehicles free of charge for employees in direct health care through the Group's own mobility partner BMW Rent. The BMW Group does not only help with vehicles for social and health care facilities at its German and international locations. Donations of materials and equipment, such as respirators and disinfectants, to social and public institutions are also part of the relief effort.
