Circus Krone presents: Mandana - Circus art re-dreamed

Majestic animals, breathtaking acrobatics, fairytale costumes and an enchanting story: Circus Krone finally makes a guest appearance in our beautiful Main metropolis again after 15 years and takes visitors into a fabulous world full of grace, poetry and romance with the show "Mandana - Circus Art Re-Dreamed".

The new program impresses in particular with the innovative combination of top-class circus art with a fascinating frame story: The horse princess "Mandana" meets the lion man and falls madly in love with him. Accompanied by specially composed, live orchestral music, animal and human are shown in perfect symbiosis.

In doing so, the largest travelling circus in the world also wants to tell its own story to a certain extent. The experience of over a century of lived passion for the profession is reflected both in the design of the circus tent, reminiscent of a 1920s palace, and in the lovingly designed outfits of the artists. World-class acrobats such as the body artist Aleksandr Batuev, the "Duo Stauperti" on the perche, the high wire sensation "Los Robles" or the "Duo Stipka" on their horses offer spectacular entertainment. For the first time, a trampoline act, "Truppe Non Stop", will be part of the programme, delivering a furious performance under the dome of the circus tent. Humorous moments will be provided by close-up magician and comedian Steve Eleky and the Russian clown trio "Without Socks."

Of big cats and graceful horses

In addition to human artists, Circus Krone has always stood for breathtaking animal attractions. The new programme "Mandana - Circus Art Dreamt anew" focuses on the graceful horses of animal trainer and circus director Jana "Mandana" Lacey Krone on the one hand, and on the impressive lions of her husband and multi-award-winning trainer Martin Lacey Jr. on the other. They form the supporting elements in the romantic love story between the horse princess and the lion man. The audience follows the two on an enchanting journey through the history of the circus, carried by the incomparable atmosphere in the ring.
