CLOTHES MAKE PEOPLE - Health care and nursing worker is Corona heroine of everyday life

The campaign CLOTHES MAKE PEOPLE honors the Corona heroines of everyday life again this month. This time Ramona Ott (34 J), health and nurse in the emergency room of the hospital Sachsenhausen is the focus of the campaign. She has only one dream at the moment: to take off her protective mask and safety equipment, enjoy normal life again and simply celebrate. When the COVID 19 panedmia is finally over, Romona Ott wants to do just that. Since 2009, the Offenbach native has been caring for patients admitted with infectious diseases such as influenza. For a good year now, of course, she has also been looking after corona patients. The University Hospital of Frankfurt in particular benefited from the nearby Sachsenhausen Hospital. Mild cases of COVID-19 could be accommodated and treated here, thus making room for the more severe cases at the University Hospital. Nevertheless, the corona ward was almost always full.

It is thanks to the constant training on hygiene measures at the beginning and during the course of the pandemic that Ramona Ott was fortunately spared the virus. "This is very important to me, because I've been in different circumstances for a few weeks" and "now I have to take care not only of myself, but also of my unborn child". When the pandemic will finally be over, the sympathetic nurse is not able to say, but then she will go celebrate with friends and family. "I miss street parties, going out for a good meal, dancing or dressing up fancy". Ramona Ott is for the initiators of the campaign "Clothes make the man" a Corona heroine of everyday life.

"She has a lot of empathy and passion for her job, she helps people affected by the virus and works every day to make patients feel better soon," think Stephan Görner and Sven Müller. The campaign presents people with extraordinary or dangerous professions. Recognition, appreciation and respect are the messages. New in the team around Görner and Müller is Manuel Dorn. The photographer implemented the shooting in the hospital Sachsenhausen great, photographed Ramona Ott first authentic in her daily work, then in a beautiful two-row with black-white-red Glencheck pattern from the house of Görner.
