Since Wednesday, Frankfurt has been all about the bicycle! The Eurobike, the leading international trade fair for bicycles and Future Mobility, celebrates its premiere in Frankfurt with its 30th edition in total. According to fairnamic managing director Stefan Reisinger, the fair's new start in the Main metropolis has been an absolute success: "The new concept, including the change of location, is working and we hope for more great days at the fair that will noticeably advance the mobility revolution," said Reisinger on Wednesday, the first day of the Eurobike for trade visitors. Until Sunday, more than 1,500 exhibiting companies from 57 nations will present the innovations of the bike and future mobility industry on 140,000 square meters of hall and outdoor exhibition space.
For example, there are 50 cargo bike exhibitors to see in the Cargo Area of the Future Mobility Hall, accompanied by prominent trade events and a Cargobike Race as a spectacular finale. Of course, e-bikes are also prominently featured at the show, with some new trends to see in this segment, which has grown extremely in just the past two years. And exciting premieres such as the ST7 speed pedelec from Swiss manufacturer Stromer or the Pino Cargo - a real all-rounder - from Hase Bikes can be admired here. In addition, there are new technologies around cycling, new trends in equipment and much more.
There is really a lot to see and experience at this fair - especially at the Festival Days on the weekend. These are not limited to the fairgrounds, however, where there are many activities to participate in, try out or watch, in addition to the presentations. At the Mainkai, which is closed to cars and where accompanying activities have been taking place since Wednesday, as well as in the Osthafenpark, everything will revolve around bicycles on the weekend. A large bicycle market, workshops, live music, BMX shows, a club night and much more is on the varied program for all ages.
An absolute highlight on the exhibition grounds is the big Freeride Mountain Bike Slopestyle Gold Event. In the outdoor area between Halls 9 and 11, the best MTB slopestyle riders in the world will let off steam on the approximately 130-meter-long dirt course, peppered with four jumps and a hip feature. This guarantees breathtaking action and terrific photo motifs. So if you want to experience something this weekend, still want to find out about the latest trends or even pedal yourself again, you should definitely stop by the Festival Days at the Eurobike.
