Temperatures may be climbing again, but high summer is officially on its last legs. And that also means having to say goodbye to some lovely summer events. One of them is the popular FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY at the Jahrhunderthalle, which will really let it rip with its Closing Edition on September 7. For the last time this season, everything the local trucker scene has to offer will be presented on the Butterblümchenwiese. Not only old acquaintances will be at the start.
A new member of the Food Truck Friday family is Hawelka´s Streetfood Truck with two classics of Brazilian cuisine. Coxinhas are a signature Brazilian snack. The stuffed croquettes are available at Hawelka´s with chicken, mozzarella or spinach feta cheese. The second classic is gluten-free cheese balls made from cassava root, called pao de queijo. The balls come in cheese, herb or chili flavors. For the sweet faction, Hawelka´s street food truck also has churros and brigadeiros, a Brazilian truffle praline.
Once again, Bembel Gin will be in the mix. The first gin that actually tastes like apple. "As avid cider and gin lovers, we wanted to combine the two and developed Bembel Gin," says Jorin Karner. In true style, Bembel Gin is presented in a clay bottle decorated with Bembel flowers. In addition to the refreshing apple and citrus notes and the juniper berries obligatory for gin, lemon peel, coriander, lavender, lime and other botanicals round off Bembel Gin. A special edition is the Eintracht Frankfurt Gin, which should not be missing in the bar of every fan of the diva from the Main.
In the bull's eye hit the last Food Truck Friday the mobile mini golf course of the black light heroes. That's why they'll be back again in September and will also be bringing along a mirror photo box. Selfies were yesterday - today there is the "miracle mirror". You just have to try it out. At the Closing Edition of the Food Truck Fridays, the trucker all-stars will once again be in attendance. You can look forward to Anzah Nomads, Truck Up, Beef Tantuni Wrap, Bully's Burger, Champions Food Truck, Fett & Lecker, La Patata, Mellow Monkey, Mundpropaganda, Wild Smoker, Tiroler Knödl Kistl and many, many more!
