For many people, the Easter holidays are a cherished opportunity to go out to eat with family or friends, and then especially to enjoy the first asparagus. Because of the Corona crisis, much is different this year. "Restaurant visits are unfortunately not possible at the moment, but we don't want to deprive anyone of fresh asparagus from our kitchen," says Karina Ansos, hotel director of the Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt. She therefore offers ready-prepared asparagus to go from Maundy Thursday to Easter Monday. Alternatively, orderers can have the asparagus dishes delivered in the local area of Gravenbruch and Neu-Isenburg; the delivery fee is EUR 10, which the hotel donates to the Kinderhilfestiftung Frankfurt.
Those who don't want to cook for themselves at Easter can order a ready-made dish to go at the Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt. The classic - asparagus with buttered potatoes and hollandaise sauce - costs EUR 19 with 250 grams of asparagus or EUR 38 with 500 grams of asparagus. Salmon or raw ham - both for EUR 14 - or cooked ham - EUR 9 - can also be ordered. In addition, the Kempinski kitchen prepares asparagus salad (200 grams for EUR 15) and asparagus soup (250 milliliters for EUR 5). "So that you can enjoy the dish at home almost as you would at our place, we have made a short video explaining the correct preparation of the asparagus picked up or delivered," says Karina Ansos. The video can be seen on the hotel's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Kempinski.Hotel.Frankfurt/
The offer is valid April 9-13, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, and while supplies last. Required is a telephone orders at 069 38 98 80. The last delivery is at 18:00 clock.
