Grand "Dribble Soccer Final" at Hessen-Center Frankfurt

Grand 'Dribble Soccer Final' at Hessen-Center Frankfurt

For Germany, the World Cup has been over for a while. (Yes, it still hurts.), but now the tournament is also approaching the home stretch for the remaining four teams. On this occasion, the Hessen-Center Frankfurt in cooperation with Contact & Sports GmbH invites you to the big dribble final at the Hessen-Center on 14.07.2018 at 5 pm.

Since the beginning of the World Cup football event at the Hessen-Center, children and adults can always prove their dribbling talent in the game "8 on 18 seconds" on Fridays and Saturdays in the time from 13:00 - 18:00 at the "sportstation". The aim of the running game, which uses computer technology to test reaction and speed, is to harmonise a sense of time and ball coordination in order to run down a given figure of eight with the round leather in as precise a time as possible (18 seconds). The top 50 runners qualify for the grand final.

The last opportunity for this qualification is on 13.07.2018 in the time of 13.00 - 18:00 clock. The grand final will then take place on Saturday, 14.07.2018, at 17:00. The finale will be accompanied by Wolfgang A. Peas, creator of "sportstation" and host of the grand finale.

The graduates with the very best sense of time and the greatest ball control can look forward to attractive centre vouchers as 1st to 3rd prize, and from 4th place to 50th place many beautiful non-cash prizes.

With its 115 or so specialist shops, the Hessen-Center Frankfurt is the shopping experience in Frankfurt's east. The mix of sectors, individually tailored to the region, is a shopping and communication hub. In a covered shopping street on a sales area of approx. 38,000 sqm, the center combines a department store, clothing stores and fashion boutiques, specialty stores for jeans and leisure wear, shoes and accessories as well as perfumeries, food suppliers and service shops, Cafés and restaurants.

The sportstation

The various games are designed to be quite simple: Light signals show the runner the way, and with a result receipt printed out immediately after the run, you can see the evaluation of the measurements. These vary depending on the game - e.g. reaction time, acceleration, commuting, etc. Worldwide, participants can evaluate their results in the specially designed sportstation app and compare themselves with other athletes. The app is available for free download in the App Store and on Google Play.

Even DFB President Reinhard Grindel tested sportstation at a recent event - and was very taken with it and amazed that such measurement technology exists.

With various sport sensor systems and differentiated game modes, the inventor of the sportstation, Wolfgang A. Paes, has already been very successful and has constantly developed the idea of making exercise more fun for children. With one of his campaigns he created the biggest movement campaign in Germany and with the Superdribbler the aim is still to beat the top time of superstar Lionel Messi.
