The Kulturpark am Schlachthof will be transformed into a world of fairground dreams on the first weekend in September. Visitors can experience magic and poetry instead of carnival and noisy funfair. The 1st International Carousel Festival in Wiesbaden invites people of all ages to an unforgettable experience from September 1, 2023 to September 3, 2023. With eight breathtaking carousels, an authentic steam railroad and a diverse selection of other attractions from different parts of the world, the festival promises variety and entertainment.
Visitors can look forward to a wide range of attractions, including street theater from the countries of France, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland and Germany. Whether you're craving background music, French fries, fluffy cotton candy or a lookout tower, there's something for everyone. The unique stuffed animal butchery, a flight on the magic carpet, Heinz Baut - the master of construction, the fascinating machine creature and even a rousing bicycle disco are just a few of the many highlights that visitors can marvel at with their eyes wide open. The KlötzchenWelt for the little master builders, giant soap bubbles to marvel at and amazing performances by talented magicians and sorceresses are sure to captivate the audience.
Apart from the varied entertainment program, the popular Schlachthof flea market attracts guests with an impressive variety of offers and hidden treasures. Admission to the event is free of charge. For only €5.00 per person, visitors receive a day ticket that allows access to all rides.
