Jazz? We can! enters its third round at the Living Hotel Frankfurt

The Living Room at the Living Hotel Frankfurt is an extremely inviting location. Designed as a feel-good space, guests can stretch out on a comfy sofa, sit on a bar stool and sip a glass of wine, work at a more classic workstation or get cozy in XXL wingback chairs. The shelves on the walls are filled with books and records and underline the "feeling at home" concept of the <link https: www.frankfurt-tipp.de ffm-aktuell s ugc ein-besuch-im-neuen-derag-livinghotel-in-sachsenhausen.html _blank>Living Hotel. Two event series have been taking place here for some time now, which perfectly fit the atmosphere.

"The monthly ‚Open Stage' has long had a regular audience," says Dorothée Wendorff, Head of Sales at the Living Hotel. And also the vinyl session regularly attracts record lovers who can listen to their treasures together with other guests. Since October, this attractive event offer has been enriched by a series. <link https: www.frankfurt-tipp.de ffm-aktuell s ugc living-hotel-frankfurt-laedt-zu-jazz-we-can.html _blank>We told you about the start of "Jazz? We can!" we already told you about HERE. In November, we were guests at the Living Hotel and made ourselves a picture of the new musical offer in living room atmosphere.

"'Jazz? We Can!'appeals to a very different audience than the Open Stage," says Dorothée Wendorff. "But we hope that over time this series will find its audience." The signs are good. The second edition, which featured the duo Le Bang Bang on the small stage, was already very well attended. The guests listened to singer Stephanie Bolz and bassist Sven Faller, who performed their own songs as well as very unusual cover versions of hits from pop, soul and rock. Especially their interpretation of the Nirvana classic "Smells like Teen Spirit" caused thunderous applause.

The Munich music journalist ("Süddeutsche Zeitung") and jazz-par excellence connoisseur Oliver Hochkeppel, who also presents the series on site, is responsible for selecting the artists. "We want to try to get jazz out of the basement," he tells us, explaining the concept of the series. The audience should realize how versatile jazz can be - and that musically it often moves beyond the known clichés. In this rather intimate atmosphere, one likes to get involved. One is very close to the artists, as there is almost no boundary between musician and audience. Stephanie Bolz and Sven Faller were also extremely taken with the atmosphere. During the break and after the show they mingled with the guests and just enjoyed the evening.

Even if you are not an outspoken jazz lover, you will enjoy "Jazz? We Can!" Because besides the music, which can unfold a wonderfully intimate sound carpet here, everything is just right: The feel-good ambience, the really very nice service, the relaxed mood among the guests and the good offer of drinks and small dishes. And if you love jazz, you can't miss a visit anyway - if only because of the artists who do the honours here.

For example, at the upcoming edition on Friday, December 14, two great artists of the jazz scene will be on stage at the Living Room: "The Duo" aka Tom Reinbrechts and Paulo Alves. Tom Reinbrecht can look back on a long and very successful jazz vita - whether solo or with big names - and according to the feuilletons of the SZ & Co counts to "one of the most virtuosic saxophonists far and wide and is an almost Europe-wide hardly reached master of soulful sound". You really shouldn't miss this one.
