"The history of the Ice Hockey Lions is unique. Equally unique is the perseverance and passion of all club members and fans. It is the extensive work that goes on off the ice that makes the Lions an extremely successful team. Not to forget the many fans of the Lions, big and small, who actively support the team week after week", Feldmann said.
"Frankfurt is happy with you. Winning the championship is the crowning glory of the club's 25th anniversary," the Lord Mayor concluded.
