Cancelling or postponing a long-planned major event is not a decision that is taken lightly. But health comes first. That's why Trifels Verlag GmbH has decided to postpone the Rhein-Main trade fair planned for April in Hochheim in view of the corona epidemic. The fair will now take place in September - and then even on three days, namely from 04th to 06th September. After intensive consultations, the postponement was decided, because the safety and health of visitors and exhibitors has absolute priority for the organizer.
Of course, the postponement affects not only the entire Orga team, which has been working under high pressure for months to offer visitors a fantastic trade fair experience. Hundreds of exhibitors who have already booked stands are also affected. To ease the inconvenience they now face, the fair will be extended by a third day without additional stand fees
Michael Meckel, CEO of Trifels Verlag GmbH, explains the decision: "True to our company creed ‚Together on´ we have done our utmost to be able to hold the Rhein-Main trade fair on the originally planned date. As organizers, we feel particularly committed to the satisfaction and well-being of our visitors as well as exhibitors and cooperation partners. Their health and safety is our top priority, which is why we decided to take this step in view of the increasing number of Corona infections," said Meckel.
Björn Fritsch, Head of Marketing at Trifels Verlag GmbH and responsible for the trade fair, adds: "We hope for the understanding of all involved and look forward to continuing‚to plan together with these´ and to be able to present an even more beautiful and comprehensive fair at the beginning of September.“
Also affected by the postponement is the Kulturfestival Rhein-Main, originally scheduled for April 15-17. This will now also be rescheduled and will continue to take place in the run-up to the fair, more precisely from 01 to 03 September. The venue for the Messe Rhein-Main and the Kulturfestival Rhein-Main will still be the Marktgelände Hochheim.
