On Saturday (12.05.) the time has come: Then the only "Monster Jam" Germany show of the year will take place - and to the delight of all fans in Frankfurt. The Commerzbank Arena will turn into a real wonderland for all PS freaks and Monster Truck fans on this day.

It may sound a bit absurd, but it is not exactly advisable to travel to this special car show by car. Don't let traffic jams and the search for a parking spot spoil your fun. As the stadium is best reached by regional trains, suburban trains, trams and buses, arriving by public transport is advisable.
The RMV is extending the service with additional S-Bahn trains and special stops at the stadium. Before and after the event, the S-Bahn trains will offer more space with additional carriages/trains. The RE trains of RMV line 70 will also make additional stops at the stadium for the journey.
However, there is one important piece of information you should definitely take into account when planning your trip: The Frankfurt S-Bahn tunnel will be closed on the event weekend due to construction work and therefore you should plan for a longer journey time if necessary The S-Bahn lines S8 and S9 will only run from/to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. From the city area there will be more trips and more space: Tram line 21 will be reinforced by line 20 between Hauptbahnhof and Stadion. Between Südbahnhof and the stop "Stadion/Osttribüne", bus line 61 will be supplemented by line 80.
For the Monster Jam, the admission ticket as RMV-KombiTicket is also valid as a ticket for travel to and from the entire RMV area.
