(ffm) Final spurt in Frankfurt's east: The new bridge over the Hafenbahn is slowly taking shape. Over two weekends in July, the bridge will receive its new roadway and sidewalk and bike path.
On two weekends each between Saturday, 9 p.m., and Monday, 5 a.m., Hanauer Landstrasse will be fully closed in the direction of the city between Ernst-Heinkel-Strasse and Dieselstrasse. The construction work will start on Saturday, July 21, and Saturday, July 28. The road will be diverted via Ernst-Heinkel-Straße, Adam-Opel-Straße, Carl-Benz-Straße and Dieselstraße. Pedestrians and cyclists will be able to pass the construction site.

The good news is that when the new roadway is completed, two lanes will once again be available to road users heading toward the city center.
