After the impressive success of the German national basketball team at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, the team will return to Germany on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. A public reception for the team will be held in Frankfurt am Main, to which all fans are cordially invited.
The DBB team will land at Frankfurt Airport at 8:50 a.m. and proceed directly to the public reception in downtown Frankfurt. The official main sponsor of the DBB, ING Germany, invites in front of its headquarters in Theodor-Heuss-Allee 2 ein. There, the team is expected around 10:00 and warmly welcomed and celebrated by the fans as well as the Prime Minister Boris Rhein and the Lord Mayor of the City of Frankfurt am Main, Mike Josef.
The players and officials of the DBB will talk about their experiences and successes in Japan and the Philippines in a conversation with moderator Anett Sattler on stage. Afterwards, fans will have the opportunity to get autographs.
