On Saturday, October 19, 2024, the doors of the Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten will open at 6:30 pm for the 8th Palmengarten Ball. This exclusive charity ball was created to support the Palmengarten and Botanical Garden Foundation and is undoubtedly one of the social highlights in Frankfurt's calendar of events. Over 1,500 expectant guests from the fields of politics, culture, sport, business and private individuals from the Main metropolis and the Rhine-Main region gather to celebrate in style and exuberance in the enchanting ambience of the Palmengarten Gesellschaftshaus. "We are looking forward to the highlight of the 2024 ball season with euphoria," announces Robert Mangold, organizer and Managing Director of Ballsaal GmbH.
Sasha is the top act at the Palmengarten Ball
The 8th Palmengarten Ball promises not only an exclusive atmosphere and social highlights, but also an impressive musical experience. As the absolute highlight and star guest of the evening, German pop musician Sasha and his band will sing his greatest hits on the stage of the magnificent ballroom.
The band Princess Cut will thrill the audience with their unique sound. In the Galerie West, Bernd Breiter and his brilliant dance concept "BigCityBeats Club Kitchen meets Dorian Gray" will put strolling guests in an exuberant dancing mood from 21:00. The musical diversity of these artists promises to make the Palmengartenball an unforgettable event. The charming leitmotif of the evening will be provided by former news presenter Judith Rakers, who will guide guests through the program with elegance and wit. With her presence and experience, she will skillfully guide the guests through the various program items and give the evening a special touch. The Palmengartenball 2024 therefore promises not only a glamorous backdrop, but also musical fireworks that will make guests' hearts beat faster.
Silent auction for the benefit of the Palmengarten and Botanic Garden Foundation
For the first time, we are holding a silent auction where guests can bid on exceptional and hand-picked items. As in previous years, the proceeds will go to the Palmengarten and Botanical Garden Foundation. The foundation is committed to the long-term and sustainable protection of the two traditional institutions in the center of the city of Frankfurt and develops forward-looking projects to meet the challenges of social and climate change.
Culinary delights and top-quality wines
Dinner guests can look forward to an exquisite, top-class gourmet menu created by Steffen Haase from the kitchen of Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten and 2-star chef Andreas Krolik from Restaurant Lafleur. The menu is particularly notable for its commitment to sustainable event management, using only products from organic farming and/or fair trade. Strolling guests are also guaranteed a first-class culinary experience. Together with his team, Steffen Haase will present sustainable gourmet snacks in the Galerie West and spoil strolling guests with culinary delights. The wine selection consists exclusively of fine wines from VDP wineries in the region, personally selected by wine connoisseur Robert Mangold.
"After we unfortunately had to do without strolling guests at the last Palmengartenball due to the pandemic, we are now all the more looking forward to a full house and numerous guests strolling around. The Palmenhaus and Galerie West will be open so that strolling guests can also enjoy the evening's delicacies and drinks to the full," says a delighted Mangold.
