A destination that is particularly popular with school classes and families has finally reopened after a long break: The StadtWaldHaus is from Monday, April 4, again accessible to all interested parties. After the sunshine of the past days (of which today admittedly little is to be felt), first blossoms and bird song had lured many people the city forest and school classes and kindergarten groups on the workdays, families preferred on the weekends to the information center StadtWaldHaus/Fasanerie pilgrimage, they must limit their visit now no longer only to the beautiful area around the information center.
The animal care station and the experience path could be explored already. In the past spring days also numerous frogs and toads could be discovered, which were straight in the ponds at the Ablaichen. Starting next week, the best place for observing pond life will be available again: the porthole window in the StadtWaldHaus, behind which toads, newts and the like can be observed from a very short distance with a little luck. Especially for children, this is a real experience!
The StadtWaldHaus is always open

Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The forest store on the grounds of the information center is open on Tuesdays from 3 to 6 pm.
The StadtWaldHaus can be reached by streetcar line 17. From the station Oberschweinstiege it is still about 15 minutes walk.
By car you can reach the StadtWaldHaus via the freeway exit Frankfurt-Süd from the A3 and then continue in the direction of Neu-Isenburg. Free parking is available at the Isenburger Schneise.
