The Asian Food Festival comes to Frankfurt for the second time

Throughout the summer, the Brentanobad in Rödelheim was once again a place where life pulsated. Many thousands of visitors came again this year to cool off in one of the largest outdoor pools in Europe or simply to enjoy a little time out from everyday life in the big city on the spacious grounds. But even if August can once again boast midsummer temperatures, the outdoor pool season is slowly but surely drawing to a close. But there is a wonderful way to say goodbye to summer at the Brentanobad: the Asian Food Festival!

The culinary and cultural festival celebrated its successful premiere on the grounds of the outdoor pool last late summer and will enter its second round on 14 and 15 September 2019. Once again, visitors can immerse themselves in the diversity of Asia, taste numerous delicacies and enjoy a wonderful atmosphere. This is ensured by the best street food startups and the most talented chefs from all parts of Germany, who will spoil you with their culinary creations. Korea, India, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan and other countries of Asia will be represented at the various food trucks and stalls of the festival.

But there is not only delicious food. Now in its second year, the Asian Food Festival has a number of other programming options to offer visitors a glimpse into the culture of Asia. Last year, yoga with Feroze Khan or the Tai Chi course by Master Wu were particularly well received by the audience. These wonderful attractions will therefore be on offer again at the second edition of the festival. In addition, great offers such as traditional Bollywood dance performances, face painting and bouncy castles are planned for children.

With such an offer, the motto of this year's Asian Food Festival fits perfectly: "Happy People" will be guaranteed on the two event days. But the motto is not only meant to apply at the festival, it is meant to be an appeal to all people to go through life happier. Happiness also includes a peaceful, open-minded coexistence of different cultures. And a festival like this should also make a contribution to this.

The Asian Food Festival will take place this year on Saturday, September 14 from 12 to 10 pm and on Sunday, September 15 from 12 to 8 pm at Brentanobad, Rödelheimer Parkweg, 60489 Frankfurt. Admission is 3 euros cultural contribution, children up to 10 years are free.
