The Frankfurt Oktoberfest has been celebrated eleven times so far - each year with steadily increasing success. Over 60,000 people came to the marquee at the stadium in 2019 alone to celebrate in style. In 2020 and 2021, the popular event could not take place and there was also a big question mark behind this year's edition due to the still very high infection figures. But now there is good news: the 12th Frankfurt Oktoberfest will take place from September 7 to October 3 at Deutsche Bank Park. The advance sale starts already on May 10 at www.frankfurter-oktoberfest.de and at all known advance booking offices
There will be a total of 22 events in which everything in the festival tent will revolve around Hessian-Bavarian party fun with specially brewed festival beer, the Frankfurt Oktoberfest band, New German Wave shows, stars and traditional costume fashion. Fun and good humor are guaranteed. The Frankfurt version of the popular folk festival is organized by the proven team around the brothers Patrick and Dennis Hausmann together with Kai Mann. They will ensure that after a two-year break, the atmosphere picks up exactly where the Frankfurt Oktoberfest left off in 2019. Since a run on the tickets, as it has been observed in the past again and again, is to be expected. "I advise not to wait too long with the ticket purchase," says Patrick Hausmann.
"The pent-up demand is immense, we notice that in the many inquiries and advance bookings. The party-less time was simply too long, now the Wiesn fans want to get back into dirndls and lederhosen and celebrate exuberantly." All the artists have already been booked, including Oli P., Jimmie Wilson, the Weather Girls and Bernhard Brink. Also the popular evenings like the Hammer-Gaudi with Roy Hammer & the Pralinées, the Fash'n Night and the NDW fun with Markus are on the program.
Opening with Mickie Krause
"It starts right away with a bang: None other than Mickie Krause will open our small family festival," Kai Mann is pleased. "And of course there is from the first minute on our drinkable festival beer."
On four Sundays at once, the Oktoberfest makers invite to the family and party morning pint with the Oktoberfest band. Three evenings are under the motto "Tracht Night". "We are very pleased that we have a partner at our side with the costume store Deiters Frankfurt, which can make all Oktoberfest visitors happy with a large selection of traditional costume fashion," notes Patrick Hausmann.
