Most know him as Bäppi through his solo shows and plays. But Thomas Bäppler-Wolf has recently discovered a new stage for himself: the city itself! Whether the new Old Town, the Historical Museum, the Zoo or the Senckenberg Museum - in his very special city tours Bäppi skillfully mixes informative with his typical humor. There one has fun and can also still learn something.
As a city councilor, Thomas Bäppler-Wolf also knows his way around the Römer. For him, this was a good reason to offer special guided tours through the "holy halls" of Frankfurt at Pentecost and Corpus Christi. On six exclusive dates, those interested were able to get to know the emperors in the Kaisersaal, admire the picture gallery of the lord mayors, find out what the Bridge of Sighs is all about and take a seat in the Magistrates' Hall. For the dedicated entertainer, actor, city guide and city councilor, there was a good reason for this offer: he wanted to support the association UCC "Ukrainian Coordination Centre".
Now Thomas Bäppler-Wolf in the presence of the Ukrainian Consul General Vadym Kostiuk could hand over to the association a check for 3200.- euros, which came together through the Römer tours, in the AMKA of the city of Frankfurt. The association will use the money for refugee children and young people. In doing so, he also thanked all who participated in the guided tours and thus contributed to this financial support.
