(kus) Under the motto "Tür auf!", Frankfurt children's songwriter Ferri, together with his colleagues Beate Lambert, Rolf Grillo and Toni Geiling, invites children and families from Frankfurt and the surrounding area to the Children's Songwriter Festival from April 24 to 30. The musicians will present a colourful mixture of rhythm, movement, sung sounds and sounds made in an exciting way, in which everyone can join in.
"Our home city of Frankfurt is characterised by its special quality of life. A central aspect of this is the cultural offerings," says Lord Mayor Peter Feldmann, who is also the patron of the 14th Children's Songwriter Festival. "Traditional so-called high culture and free scene - you can find that in every big city. A music festival for children, on the other hand, only very few have. And a children's songwriter band only plays here. We in Frankfurt are proud of the Frankfurt Children's Songwriter Festival and very grateful for the commitment of the organizers around the Frankfurt children's songwriter Ferri."
As festival organizer, children's songwriter Ferri is pleased with this strong support his project has received in Frankfurt for many years, as well as the new supporters who joined this year. "It's the same with children's song makers as it is with the 'big boys'," says Ferri. "To get a festival off the ground and keep it alive, it takes energetic support. We are therefore very grateful to our sponsors and partners, many of whom have been loyal to us for many years."
In addition to school concerts, a Knax concert and the closing gala as a family concert in the Gallus Theater, the Frankfurt Children's Songwriter Festival will also make guest appearances with this program in Singhofen, Nassau and in Friedrichsdorf-Köppern. Advance sales are already underway. Tickets for the family concert are available directly from the Gallus Theatre by telephone on 069/75806020. They cost seven euros.
The 14th Frankfurt Children's Songwriter Festival is supported by the City of Frankfurt, Frankfurter Sparkasse, Frankfurter Bürgerstiftung, Cronstett- and Hynspergische ev. Stiftung, Fraport, FTV 1860 Stiftung, Mainova and Süwag.
