Night work in Boulevard Ost
(kus) Since May of this year, work has been underway to lay traffic surfaces in Boulevard Ost on Europa-Allee. Over the next few weeks, the new lanes will be paved. The space in the middle of the boulevard is needed for the start excavation of the tunnel drive for the extension of the U5 light rail line into the Europaviertel.
As part of this work, work must be done in the area of the access road to the Skyline Plaza parking garage. As the operation of the underground car park access road must be maintained during the day between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., and in order to keep traffic restrictions to a minimum, the work is planned for the night hours. This will allow for expeditious completion and minimization of construction time.
During the nights of Friday, July 21, to Saturday, July 22, and Monday, July 24. July, to Tuesday, July 25, work will be from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night.
Residents will be notified of the upcoming night work via house mailings.
Information for citizens: At the office hours for residents and interested citizens, questions and suggestions can be made directly about the project every Wednesday (except on holidays) from 5 to 7 pm. The consultation hours take place in the information and construction office at Güterplatz. The entrance to the information container is on Hafenstrasse.
