The Women's Department's 2025 annual calendar is all about the role model campaign "Wir trauen uns was!". The calendar shows portraits of eight Frankfurt women who embody courage and self-determination in different areas of life. From hairdressers to professional footballers - the women depicted share their inspiring stories and encouraging messages that stand for cohesion and solidarity.
Tina Zapf-Rodríguez, Head of Department for Environment, Climate and Women, emphasizes: "The portraits are intended to encourage women and girls and show them that they are not alone in their fight for respect and self-determination." QR codes on each calendar page take viewers to short films in which the women portrayed describe their experiences in more detail.
The calendar is available free of charge in DIN A2 format and can be taken to the city library or the Citizens' Advice Bureau or collected from the Women's Department by prior arrangement. Further information is available online at Stadt Frankfurt and on the campaign website.
