From Frankfurt off abroad
(pia) Many teenagers and young adults dream of living, learning or working abroad for a while. Whether as an exchange student, au pair, with a voluntary service or as an intern - there are many opportunities. An overview of the various programs and providers is offered by the JugendBildungsmesse (JuBi), which will take place on September 17 at the Wöhlerschule, Mierendorffstraße 6, in Frankfurt. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., visitors will have the chance to get free advice and talk to providers and former program participants.
"More and more young people want to set out to learn about other cultures and ways of life and to examine and develop their own skills, norms and values in a foreign country," knows Thomas Terbeck, head of weltweiser, an independent educational advisory service, and organizer of the fairs. "At the JuBi, such dreams become plans."
The weltweiser educational counselling service will also be on site at the trade fair information stand and will provide individual advice on stays abroad and alternative financing options. For example, the WELTBÜRGER scholarships for student exchanges language trips, volunteer services and other programs will be announced at the fair.
The JugendBildungsmesse is one of the largest special fairs on the subject of "Education Abroad". As patron of the fair, Lord Mayor Peter Feldmann also supports its aim of offering young people the opportunity to look beyond their own horizons. The offer is aimed at students in grades eight to 13, their parents and teachers. Info, exhibitor list and scholarship information at <link http: www.weltweiser.de _blank>
