Fish is not only excellent as a side dish to "Grie Sooß", it also does splendidly as an ingredient in it, as this example impressively demonstrates in a very delicious way.
Ingredients
.- 1 kg pike (where the weight refers to the middle piece from the pike, without the head and tail fin)
- 1 lemon (optionally pure lemon juice from the bottle)
- Salt
- Pepper
- 125 grams of butter
- "Grie Sooß" (The recipe can also be found on this page)
Preparation:
Drizzle the pike pieces with the lemon juice and then season the fish with salt and pepper. While this soaks in a bit, melt the butter in a pot and let it foam up slightly. Fry the pieces of pike in it on both sides and then let it cool down in the butter. After preparing the "Grie sauce" put it in a bowl with the fish pieces, alternating the sauce and the pike pieces.
