Frankfurt strengthens its economy with four new Asian companies in the first quarter

In the first quarter of this year, the Frankfurt Economic Development Agency assisted in the settlement of four Asian companies in the city. The newly settled companies from the chemical, robotics, food industry and services sectors come from India, China and South Korea. This underscores Frankfurt's continuing appeal as an international location and the excellent reputation the city enjoys in the Asian business landscape. With seed capital of more than two million euros, these companies have already created more than 130 jobs in the early stages, and they are planning further growth at the site.

One of these startups is ABS Commerce & Industrial, a subsidiary of leading yeast manufacturer Angel Yeast Co, which is listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. ABS Commerce & Industrial's Managing Director, Eric Ao, emphasized Frankfurt's outstanding geographic location, positive investment environment and great market and development potential as reasons for choosing the site. He added that the proactive support provided by the Frankfurt Economic Development Agency during the relocation process and its assistance with the work visa application were key factors in this decision.

In February, Xpat24 was established in Frankfurt to address the growing interest of the Indian community in Germany. This platform provides services to Indian expats working in high-level positions outside their home country.

A leading Chinese robotics technology provider also opened an office in Frankfurt. The office specializes in the sale, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of intelligent logistics robots.

Stephanie Wüst, head of the city of Frankfurt's economic affairs department, praised the work of the economic development agency as valuable for the business location and emphasized that the new settlement of these four Asian companies illustrates the international confidence in Frankfurt as an attractive location.

Ansgar Roese, managing director of the Economic Development Agency, was pleased with the positive developments and emphasized that the new settlements reflect Frankfurt's continued attractiveness for various industries.
