At the moment, we can hardly imagine being able to enjoy the benefits of a huge thermal world with many other people. But with a positive eye on the future, the building application has now been submitted for a project that will make just that possible: Thermenwelt Bad Vilbel is to become a place for recreation, health and sport in the future with more than 30 saunas, thermal pools with Bad Vilbel healing water, rooms for health treatments, a slide facility, as well as a communal indoor pool with eight lanes, catering areas and parking garages. The building application by the Josef WUND thermal spa group from Friedrichshafen comprises 120 files and combines nature, health and culture in a project of superlatives.

For the City of Bad Vilbel, the project has a special significance from a traditional point of view alone, as the Bad Vilbel Spa World will revive the city's 2000-year-old bathing culture. The offer is guaranteed to attract many visitors from the entire surrounding area and is also extremely attractive for Frankfurt residents. For people who live in Bad Vilbel, there will be specially discounted rates, which should make Bad Vilbel even more attractive.

It's not just the size and range of facilities that make the project so special. Thermenwelt is also being planned as the first project of its kind in Germany to be LEED Platinum certified. This means that particularly high standards for environmentally friendly, resource-saving and sustainable construction and operation of buildings must be met. Throughout Europe, Bad Vilbel is thus setting standards for ecological and sustainable construction. Through the contract design, the city and municipal utilities and thus all Bad Vilbel citizens will participate directly in the economic success of the Thermewelt.

The municipal project manager Klaus Minkel thanks the Therme Group Josef WUND and their partners, especially the Therme Group, for having further developed the vision of the company founder Josef Wund, who died in an accident, and for their enormous commitment in recent years to make it a reality. There is no question about it: The Therme World Bad Vilbel is a project that will have great significance for the entire region and will certainly become a popular destination for families, sports enthusiasts and wellness lovers in the future. We are excited and will of course keep you up to date.
