This coming weekend is Christmas! This of course has an impact on various weekly markets, which usually take place on Friday or Saturday. The weekly markets Nordend, Gallus, Heddernheim, Höchst, Sachsenhausen and the Schillermarkt will be open on Christmas Eve, 24 December - but only until 1pm. The weekly markets Oberrad, Bornheim and the Erzeugermarkt Konstablerwache will be brought forward from December 25 to December 24.
These brought-forward markets will also be open until 1 pm on Christmas Eve. The weekly market Höchst will additionally take place on Thursday, December 23. The Niederrad, Riedberg and Höchst weekly markets, which would have been held on Saturday, December 25, will be cancelled.
On New Year's Eve, on Friday, December 31, the Nordend, Gallus, Heddernheim, Sachsenhausen and Schillermarkt weekly markets will open until 2 pm. The weekly market in Höchst will only be open until 1 p.m. on New Year's Eve. The weekly markets Oberrad, Bornheim and the Erzeugermarkt Konstablerwache will be brought forward from 1 January to 31 December. The weekly markets Niederrad, Riedberg and Höchst, which would have been held on Saturday, January 1, are cancelled.
