In a few weeks it starts again - the goose season. Until Christmas there will be delicious goose dishes to enjoy in many places. Especially popular for years is the city-famous pick-up goose at the MAINGAU, the beautiful hotel with in-house event and catering service in Sachsenhausen. Who does not want to wait for it, before it goes off here in November with the goose meal, which can get itself already on 12 September deliciously light autumn pleasure in the form of a tasty stubble goose menu home.
There are different components to choose from. In addition to the stubble goose with plum sauce, pumpkin gnocchi and creamed savoy cabbage for 2 people (for 65 €) with optional 0.5 l sauce extra (for 6.50 <.x>Ampersand</x>euro;), goose terrine on Walldorf salad and Cumberland sauce (for 11.00 €) can be ordered as a starter. An optional dessert on the menu is apple tiramisu in a jelly jar (for 5.50 €). And the accompanying wine is a 2013 DEHESA LA GRANJA-Tempranillo wine from Alejandro Fernandez (0.75 l for 13 <x>ampersand</x>euro;). Ordering is easy: just fill out the flyer HERE and send it by 07. You will then pick up your order on September 12 at the agreed date between 10 and 12 o'clock in the restaurant. You can pay cash or with EC-card. It is best to bring your own transport box. If this is not possible, you can also borrow a box for 10 <x>ampersand</x>euro; deposit. If you have brought the stubble goose then safely home, only a few handles are necessary and you can already enjoy the light delicacy quite relaxed.

On 11/11, St. Martin will be celebrated in culinary fashion at MAINGAU. Kitchen time is from 18 -21 o'clock
Also on 27. and 28.11., the 04., 05. 11., 12., 18. and 19.12. it is called "The goose is cooked." in the MAINGAU. Here you can then choose from the Christmas menu at the kitchen times (18 - 21 clock).
In addition, the goose dishes are also served on St. Nicholas, as well as on Christmas Day and Boxing Day (kitchen time 12 - 14:30).
