Summer break in July: Freitags-Konsti returns from August 16

The popular event series "50 Grad / Freitags-Konsti" is taking a summer break in July. This is due to bad weather, vacations and staff shortages. But from August 16, the event will return to the plateau at Konstablerwache and bring fresh momentum for the late summer.

The "50 Grad / Freitags-Konsti", which started at the end of April, delights with a varied offer: food and drink stands, gymnastics and sports clubs, cabaret artists and many other actors create an inviting and cultivated atmosphere. The concept remains unchanged: sustainable, regional and international, with a colorful mix of sports, dance and cultural offerings.

"The start of the 50 Grad / Freitags-Konsti was fantastic, but the following Fridays were marked by rain and storms. Once the event had to be canceled due to extreme weather warnings, another time we started later to avoid the strong gusts," reports Feyza Morgül, organizer of the Freitags-Konsti.

Despite the capricious weather, the city marketing department sees the Freitags-Konsti as an important contribution to revitalizing the city centre. Wüst, Head of Economic Affairs, and Mr. Frischkorn, Chairman of the Frankfurt Sports Circle, support the series. "The number of visitors on Fridays on the plateau at the Konstablerwache still has room for improvement", says Morgül.

Visitors such as a family from Mannheim show that the Friday Konsti also attracts people from outside the region. "There's nothing like this here in Mannheim," says the father in conversation. Free salsa classes, which have been taking place for two weeks, are also very popular and even attracted a police patrol, who curiously enjoyed the peaceful get-together.

From August 16, all stall operators will return and the "50 Grad / Freitags-Konsti" series will remain a permanent fixture in Frankfurt's city center. Visitors, tourists and strollers are cordially invited to enjoy the varied offerings.

Details on the cultural programs, gastronomic offerings and sports clubs from August and September will be available from 19 July on <aref=\n</x>
