Company jersey campaigns are not only in great demand among fans and athletes during the European Football Championships: around 4300 teams from Frankfurt and the region once again applied for the 17th "Mainova jerseys for clubs" campaign. The application period ran from April 15 to May 31. A total of 500 lucky winners from various team sports and running groups will receive high-quality jersey sets from Nike in their club colors. They will be notified in the next few days.
"Since the Mainova jersey campaign began in 2008, we have provided around 9,000 teams with more than 120,000 jerseys. As a regional energy and water supplier, we want to support the athletes so that they can give their all in the game. To do this, the appearance must also be right. We wish all the players every success in our Mainova jerseys!" says Mainova CEO Michael Maxelon.
Eintracht legend Karl-Heinz "Charly" Körbel says: "It's great that Mainova is also involved in grassroots sport in the region alongside professional sport like Eintracht Frankfurt. I'm already looking forward to personally delivering a few sets of jerseys to the clubs again this year. The joy, especially among the youth teams, is always huge."
In addition to the sense of community, the jersey campaign also helps to ease the burden on club coffers. The personal contribution per jersey set is just 129 euros, which corresponds to around 15 percent of the regular retail price. The campaign is aimed at team sports such as soccer, handball, basketball and volleyball as well as club-based running groups. Other team sports can also be included by purchasing training clothing or presentation suits. Clubs can find all the information they need on the website at mainova-aktionen.de/trikots.
