NFL Frankfurt Games 2023 - Events in the Game Weeks: The NFL lands in Germany
Frankfurt is looking forward to National Football League (NFL) and two games in the stadium Frankfurt. Numerous fan events will take place in the Main metropolis before and during the highly anticipated NFL Frankfurt Games, where the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs will face the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, November 5, and the Indianapolis Colts will meet the New England Patriots on Sunday, November 12.
In the run-up to these two football highlights, the NFL, the City of Frankfurt and Eintracht Frankfurt Stadion GmbH announced extensive information about fan activities and the significance of these NFL Regular Season Games for the City of Frankfurt on Thursday, October 19. In the Adler Business Lounge of -Frankfurt Stadium, Alexander Steinforth, General Manager of NFL Germany, Lord Mayor Mike Josef and Patrik Meyer, Managing Director of Eintracht Frankfurt Stadion GmbH, provided information about the events and activations surrounding the two games in the first two weeks of November.
"In just over two weeks, two NFL Frankfurt Games will take place for the first time. We would like to celebrate this premiere in Frankfurt with the many NFL fans in Germany. In the city, we have created many opportunities for NFL fans to experience American football in Frankfurt with the 'NFL Experience Frankfurt', the activations of the NFL teams and many side events," Steinforth said.
Lord Mayor and Head of Sports Josef said, "I am delighted that two international NFL games will be played in our beautiful stadium at once. Many Frankfurt people are feverishly awaiting the NFL games, even from all over the republic and abroad guests come to our city especially for this. These are great teams that will play here in Frankfurt: The Kansas City Chiefs as the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Miami Dolphins, the New England Patriots as the six-time Super Bowl champions and the Indianapolis Colts. The games, as well as the fan festival in the middle of the city center and the numerous events surrounding the games will be a great enrichment for our city."

"NFL Experience Frankfurt" in the middle of the city
NFL fans can look forward to the "NFL Experience Frankfurt" between Hauptwache and Roßmarkt. There, the event area will offer a great photo opportunity for fans to secure a photo with the giant helmets of the 32 NFL teams. Fans can test their football skills on site at the Quarterback Challenge.
A highlight for all NFL fans in Germany: for the first time, all championship rings and the Vince Lombardi Trophy will be on display in the NFL Gallery.
An NFL Flag Mini field will give fans the opportunity to experience the non-contact format of the game - a fast, exciting and fun version for all ages and abilities that appeals to boys and girls alike.
The Roßmarkt will thus become the hotspot for all NFL fans in Frankfurt and will be the central point of contact as long as the NFL makes a guest appearance in Frankfurt.
The "NFL Experience Frankfurt" is free of charge and open to all age groups. The opening hours of the "NFL Experience Frankfurt" are from Saturday, November 4, to Saturday, November 11, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. There will be no program on the two game days on Sunday, November 5, and Sunday, November 12.
NFL Fan Shops and Merchandise in Frankfurt
Official NFL merchandise will be available to fans at both the Fan Experience at Roßmarkt and at Stadion Frankfurt. The NFL Shop at Frankfurt Stadium will open its doors to all NFL fans on Saturday, Nov. 4, and from Thursday, Nov. 9, through Saturday, Nov. 11. The NFL Shop at the stadium will only be open to ticket holders on both game days.
More events surrounding the NFL Frankfurt Games
The official NFL activities will also be flanked by numerous events. The Sports Illustrated Parties invite to the big party on Friday, November 3, and Saturday, November 11, at Fortuna Somewhere. Regional and international entertainers, athletes, celebrities and influencers will join the parties on the Saturdays before game days. Some traditional Frankfurt pubs will transform into team pubs during Games Weeks. Among others, the NFL teams playing in Frankfurt, the New England Patriots, the Indianapolis Colts and the Miami Dolphins, will also invite NFL fans to their Team Pubs. In addition, fans can look forward to numerous marketing activities by NFL teams that hold marketing rights in Germany.
The Kansas City Chiefs will dock with a boat in the immediate vicinity of the Iron Pier. A public viewing for fans will also be held there. Throughout the team's stay in Germany, the "ChampionShip" will serve as a central hub for Chiefs activities, helping to make Frankfurt the NFL Capital of Europe for two weeks.
Last but not least, retail activations, fan autograph sessions and ticket raffles will take place throughout the city during Game Weeks.
