Numerous roads will be closed again for the Eschborn-Frankfurt cycling classic on Wednesday, May 1. Like car traffic, streetcar and bus lines will also be affected by the closures. S-Bahn and U-Bahn trains, on the other hand, will run largely unhindered and according to schedule.
The destination area at the Alte Oper can be easily reached by S-Bahn and U-Bahn. The Taunusanlage S-Bahn station, where lines S1 to S6, S8 and S9 stop, is just a few meters away. The subway lines U6 and U7 stop practically directly below the finish line, at the Alte Oper station.
The subway lines U4, U6 and U7 run with additional carriages and therefore offer more space than usual. The U4 and U6 lines also run at more frequent intervals.

Subway trains
Line U3 (Ginnheim - Oberursel Hohemark)
From 9 a.m. to 13.30 hrs only between Ginnheim and Oberursel Bahnhof.
Due to construction work on Zeilweg, the subway lines between Heddernheim and Wiesenau or Heddernheimer Landstraße are interrupted. A rail replacement service with buses has been set up. Line U4 (Enkheim - Bockenheimer Warte)
There will be additional journeys on line U4 between Seckbacher Landstraße and Bockenheimer Warte from 8 am to 11 am. There is a 7.5-minute interval on this section.
Line U6 (Ostbahnhof - Hausen)
On the U6 line, trains run every ten minutes from 12 noon.
Trams
Line 11 (Fechenheim Schießhüttenstraße - Höchst Zuckschwerdtstraße)
Line 11 runs every 15 minutes between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. in two sections: Between Zuckschwerdtstraße in Höchst and the main station and between Schießhüttenstraße in Fechenheim and Zoo.
Line 12 (Schwanheim Rheinlandstraße - Preungesheim Gravensteiner Platz)
Line 12 also runs every 15 minutes between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. in two sections: Between Rheinlandstraße in Schwanheim and Hauptbahnhof Südseite and between Gravensteiner-Platz and Hugo-Junkers-Straße. In addition to the changes during the cycle race, there are also changes on line 12 due to the roadworks in Hartmann-Ibach-Straße.
Line 14 (Gallus Gustavsburgplatz - Fechenheim Hugo-Junkers-Straße)
Line 14 runs from 8 am to 6 pm between Gustavsburgplatz and Südbahnhof/Bruchstraße via Stresemannallee/Gartenstraße. After 6 p.m., it will return to the construction site timetable, just like line 12. Line 16 (Ginnheim - Südbahnhof/Bruchstraße)
Tram line 16 runs between Ginnheim and Westbahnhof from 8 am to 6 pm. After 6 p.m., it runs in accordance with the longer-term changes resulting from the construction site in Textorstraße.
Line 17 (Rebstockbad - Neu-Isenburg Stadtgrenze)
From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., line 17 only runs between Neu-Isenburg and the main station (south side). After 6 p.m., it returns to the construction site timetable, just like line 16. Buses
Line M32 (Ostbahnhof - Westbahnhof)
From 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., Metrobus line M32 only connects Ostbahnhof and the police headquarters on Miquel-/Adickesallee.
Line M34 (Gallus Mönchhofstraße - Bornheim Mitte)
Metrobus line M34 runs between Bornheim Mitte and Hausener Weg from 6 am to 4 pm. From 4 pm to 6 pm it runs between Rödelheim Bahnhof and Bornheim Mitte, and from 8 am to 6 pm between Mönchhofstraße and Leonardo-da-Vinci-Allee.
Line M36 (Sachsenhausen Hainer Weg - Westbahnhof)
Metrobus line M36 runs from 6 am to 7 pm only between Hainer Weg and Südbahnhof.
Line 50 (Unterliederbach West - Bockenheimer Warte)
Line 50 only runs between Unterliederbach and Rödelheim station from 6 am to 6 pm.
Line 58 (Eschborn West - Airport Terminal 1)
Line 58 runs from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. only between Höchst cemetery and Airport Terminal 1.
Line 64 (Ginnheim - Baseler Platz)
Line 64 will run on Tuesday, 30. April, from 10.30 a.m. and on Wednesday, 1 May, only between Ginnheim and Miquel-/Adickesallee.
Line M72 (Nordwestzentrum - Rödelheim Bahnhof)
Metrobus line M72 will be suspended from 6 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.. Instead, the largely parallel M73 will run more frequently between Westbahnhof and Nordwestzentrum from 8 a.m.
Line 75 (Bockenheimer Warte - Uni Campus Westend - Bockenheimer Warte)
Line 75 will be discontinued all day.
Line 89 (Erzbergerstraße - Leonardo-da-Vinci-Allee)
Line 89 runs from 6 am to 6 pm between Erzbergerstraße and Europaviertel West.
Ebbelwei-Express
The VGF Ebbelwei-Express will remain in the depot on this day.
