Soon you can dance and celebrate for a good cause again. Because on Saturday, April 25, 2020, the doors will open for the 7th Spring Ball at the Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten. For many, the charity gala in aid of the Palmengarten and Botanical Garden Foundation has long been one of the social highlights in the calendar of events in the city of Frankfurt am Main.
For the seventh edition, over 1.500 guests from the fields of politics, business, culture, sports, media as well as private individuals from the society of the Main metropolis and the entire Rhine-Main region are expected, who will celebrate together in style and exuberance in the beautiful ambience of the Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten.
There is one innovation: in 2020, for the first time, the organizer is the newly founded Ballsaal GmbH & Co. KG. Through the trust placed by the Foundation Palmengarten and Botanical Garden in the Managing Director Robert Mangold, the Spring Ball will be further developed in line with the times. In cooperation with Sven Müller PR & live communication, Robert Mangold is sure that the upcoming ball will be even more in line with the wishes of the guests. Based on the experience gained in previous years, a revised ball concept has been created with a perfectly coordinated entertainment program and top gastronomy, by chef Steffen Haase in collaboration with 2-star chef Andreas Krolik from the restaurant Lafleur and star chef Coskun Yurdakul from the Tigerpalast.
What else is new in 2020?
On the evening of the Spring Ball, the band Muzika from London will accompany the exclusive dinner in the ballroom for the first time and ensure a boisterous dancing mood for all guests at a later hour. In addition, the world-class Varietéartists of the Tigerpalast will present artistry of the extra class. The perfect mood for the performance of the top act of the evening, which will be announced at the end of January.
The 7th Spring Ball will be hosted by the charming host Evren Gezer with a lot of humor and esprit. In the ballroom and in the gallery, guests can expect a much more comfortable seating. Chef Steffen Haase will also take up the ecological aspect of gastronomy and, in cooperation with 2-star chef Andreas Krolik, will create a sustainable gourmet menu for the guests. Thus, almost exclusively products from organic farming and/or fair trade will be used for the gourmet menu.
For the guests, all drinks and food are included in the ticket price. For the guests in the gallery of the hall, the ball will be broadcast live on a large screen in support. From 23.00 o'clock then the doors are opened to the gallery hall. Here, guests will have the opportunity to play blackjack and roulette at gaming tables of the François Blanc Spielbank Bad Homburg.
More program for strolling guests
.At the upcoming Spring Ball, strolling guests will also experience a completely new and significantly more extensive program, because not only will the food and beverage offerings included in the menu be expanded in the East and West Galleries - for the first time, all strolling guests will be offered a continuous, top-class entertainment program there. Coskun Yurdakul, Michelin-starred chef from the Tiger Palace, together with his team, will offer wonderful gourmet food in the galleries and provide the ultimate culinary treat.
In the Gallery East, an inviting lounge area amidst the blossom splendour awaits the guests and in the Gallery West, the King Kamehameha Club Band and DJ Simoné, in the late evening, will provide ultimate dance music for a boisterous mood.
The theme of sustainability comes into focus at the 7. Frühlingsball in the focus
The shuttle through the Palmengarten from the parking garage in the Siesmayerstraße to the Gesellschaftshaus, is a climate-neutral aspect, which will be taken over by Velo-Taxis at this spring ball. Thus, the ride to the Gesellschaftshaus will at the same time be a relaxing experience in the wonderful garden splendour of the Palmengarten.
A novelty at the 7th Spring Ball is also the Silent Auction, where guests can discreetly bid on exceptional and hand-picked items. As in previous years, the Palmengarten and Botanical Garden Foundation will benefit from the proceeds. This foundation is committed to the long-term and sustainable preservation of the two traditional facilities in the centre of Frankfurt. It also develops forward-looking projects with and for the Palmengarten and Botanic Garden. In this way, it supports both gardens in facing the challenges posed by social change and climate change and leading them into the future.
Also for the first time, the "Green Footprint" award, presented by FES Frankfurter Entsorgungs- und Service GmbH, will be presented during the Spring Ball. This award is given to an intuition or Frankfurt personality. Here, the idea, the creative power and the substantive performance for the commitment to society are recognized and awarded.
So there is a lot of new things to experience that will make the Spring Ball even more exciting, even more diverse and even more spectacular.
