Airport tours for many clubs and institutions again bookable free of charge
Under the motto "Active for the region", airport operator Fraport has already been supporting clubs and public institutions in the surrounding area for many years. Now, a popular recreational offering is also reviving for these institutions within the neighborhood framework: Fraport AG invites registered clubs, educational institutions, fire departments and non-profit institutions to a free tour of the airport.
A total of 400 free tours are on the schedule of the visitor service this season. These tours last 45 minutes each and currently take place on Mondays and Thursdays between 10 am and 5 pm. The number of participants is limited to 45.
Jürgen Harrer, Head of Corporate Communications at Fraport AG, welcomes the resumption of the service: "The free tours are an offer to the region that was always very popular in the years before the Corona pandemic. We are very pleased to finally welcome leisure groups from our neighborhood as guests at the airport again this season."
The airport delights visitors with international flair, the fascination of flying, and technology and logistics. "These tours offer our neighbors the opportunity to get to know Frankfurt Airport in a completely new way and to discover it again and again. They are therefore a unique opportunity for us to get into contact and dialog with our neighbors - we want to do this more in the future," he announced.
Private individuals and groups, as well as all guests planning a trip to Germany's most important aviation hub from further afield, can book a paid tour at www.fra-tours.com. The website also provides information on the Fraport Visitors Center and the Visitors Terrace at the airport's Terminal 2, which will be open daily vfrom 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting March 25.
