As in every year, the question arises again now in the period after Christmas many Frankfurt residents: Where to put the Christmas tree? Do not worry, because the Frankfurter Entsorgungs- und Service GmbH (FES) offers you again this year two options for disposal.
Variant 1: The Christmas tree can be disposed of as before during the month of January either via the brown bio garbage can, the gray residual waste garbage can or with the help of street cleaning. The prerequisite is that the trees are freed from all ornaments and shortened to pieces of no more than one meter.
Variant 2: The collection tour offered for the eighth time in the meantime and well established with fixed dates in individual districts. This involves the use of a special vehicle between Monday, January 9, and Friday, January 27, which collects only Christmas trees. Citizens simply place the trees at the property line on the collection day. It is important that the tree is clearly visible and at the same time easily accessible by the collection vehicle. Again, the trees should be decorated and shortened to pieces of no more than one meter.

The border between Sachsenhausen South and North runs along Offenbacher and Mörfelder Landstraße. On Mörfelder Landstraße, even house numbers belong to Sachsenhausen-North, and odd house numbers belong to Sachsenhausen-South. On the Offenbacher Landstraße applies: even house numbers to Sachsenhausen-South, odd house numbers to Sachsenhausen-North.
In the station district, in the old and inner city there are no separate dates, because there the street cleaning is daily in use and takes the Christmas trees.
Naturally, Christmas trees can also be dropped off free of charge at the RMB Rhein-Main Biokompost in the Osthafen or at the car trunk service at the FES recycling centers.
The schedule of the Christmas tree truck can also be found on the Internet at https://www.fes-frankfurt.de/
