EXPO REAL 2024: Frankfurt Rhine-Main metropolitan region emphasizes stability in challenging times

On the third day of the EXPO REAL 2024 trade fair in Munich, the Frankfurt Rhine-Main metropolitan region concluded its extensive program at the stand of the City of Frankfurt am Main. The event offered numerous opportunities for personal discussions and exchanges on current challenges in the real estate industry. The region was able to underline its attractiveness and stability as a business location for investors and real estate developers.

With over 40,000 trade visitors from 75 countries, the trade fair was a success. The joint stand of the Frankfurt Rhine-Main metropolitan region in Hall C1 in particular attracted many interested visitors with a broadly themed program. The City of Frankfurt presented itself there together with 26 partner companies to discuss current topics in the industry.

City Councillor Stephanie Wüst was satisfied: "Our stand left a lasting impression on the trade visitors. The intensive exchange with the players shows that Frankfurt and the region continue to be an attractive location." City Councillor Marcus Gwechenberger also emphasized the relevance of the trade fair: "We took away valuable suggestions on how we can drive forward residential construction despite difficult conditions. Affordable housing remains a decisive location factor."

Ansgar Roese, Managing Director of Wirtschaftsförderung Frankfurt, highlighted EXPO REAL as the ideal place to develop new ideas and forge partnerships. "Frankfurt and the metropolitan region offer stability for the industry in these challenging times," said Roese. The diverse program of the Metropolarena focused on current developments and solutions for the future of the real estate industry, from data centers and commercial spaces to sustainable urban development.
