MMA spectacle in Frankfurt: The 66th edition of We Love MMA promises explosive fights

Rhine-Main Derby in the Jahrhunderthalle

"Germany's toughest league" presents the first fights

On 30. September 2023 comes "Germany's toughest league" (lt. Bild newspaper) for the second time after Frankfurt am Main. We Love MMA is one of the largest mixed martial arts series in Europe and has brought the sport of MMA in Germany in the big arenas. After the Mercedes-Benz Arena Berlin, Barclays Arena Hamburg, Olympiahalle Munich or the SwissLife Hall Hannover has finally been found with the myticket Jahrhunderthalle an annual location in the Main metropolis. After last year's premiere, the most famous German MMA series is now coming to Frankfurt again with the 66th edition. Now the first fights for the great martial arts spectacle are fixed and the Hessian mixed martial arts fans can look forward to monster duels.

It almost feels like it would come to the infamous Rhine-Main derby Eintracht Frankfurt against Mainz 05. On 30.09.23 face each other the Frankfurt Leon Naumann from Main Gym and veteran Nils Wernersbach from Suum Cuique Mainz opposite. Two men one goal and a hall that will cook. For both athletes it is about putting themselves in pole position in the race for the middleweight belt. Just last year, Alexander Djukic of Paderborn captured the We Love MMA title in Frankfurt when he sent local hero Leo Lauber of MMA Spirit to the realm of dreams with a thumping knockout. For Wernersbach as well as Naumann, who could convince recently by winning series at "Germany's toughest league", it is now about nothing less than to impose themselves We Love MMA matchmaker Sven Neumann as a title fight contender.

In the second fight there is a reunion with David Depannemaecker, who is back on track. In a highly emotional bloody battle at We Love MMA this March, the former French elite soldier was able to put reality TV and GZSZ star Mario Wittmann in his place with a TKO. A performance that was subsequently honored for both fighters by Standing Ovations of the Munich audience. Since then, there has been ice time between the two fighters. Asked about Wittmann, Depannemaecker has so far reacted rather undercooled: "At the moment, I'm not interested in Mario". Thus, the next task for the Frenchman is Veselin Dimitrov. The experienced brawny Bulgarian was also able to return to winning ways recently and also comes to Frankfurt with a tailwind after a win at Austria's top organization Vendetta.

In the near future, more fights will be announced. But already with the above fights promises the 66th edition of We Love MMA cracking action. Admission is from 18 years. Tickets for the martial arts spectacle in Frankfurt/M. and all other We Love MMA Events gives it from 20.00 Euro (incl.. VVK fee) under the Tickethotline 01806-570070 or on www.welovemma.de.
